The Australian Aboriginal Flag was designed in 1971 by Aboriginal artist Harold Thomas. The flag was originally designed for the land rights movement, and it became a symbol of the Aboriginal people of Australia.

The symbolic meaning of the flag colours:

Black: Represents the Aboriginal people of Australia
Red: Represents the red earth, the red ochre and a spiritual relation to the land
Yellow: Represents the Sun, the giver of life and protector

Amazing quality!

Looks great, good quality stitching, perfect size. Bought this flag patch as a gift - stitched a velcro strip to the back of it so they can stick it to their gym bag and anywhere else with the velcro felt! Can't comment on the iron-on quality though.

Ya it good

It looks fantastic. Wish it was a bit cheaper. Adhesive won’t stick to my beanie but that makes sense as beanies are elastic.

I am travelling all November and haven't seen them.
